What if money didn’t matter?

“How would you really enjoy spending your life? Now, you’ll go and do that. Forget the money. Because if getting the money is the most important thing, you’ll spend your life completely wasting your time. You’ll be doing things you don’t like doing in order to go on living – that is to go on doing things you don’t like doing.”

This is what mostly happens to us, right? In a way, it’s normal. But it’s also insane.

I’m currently working on a BOOKLET that explores why we’re not doing the things we want to do – for example, why don’t we just quit our jobs and go out there, follow our passion? Of course, it’s the money. But it’s not as easy as that. Many people actually have jobs which they don’t enjoy but which are highly paid. And yes, these people DO have the savings, they DO have the cushion, the bolster, that would allow them to get started. But why don’t they?

The answer: FEAR. So that’s fairly straight-forward to establish.

What I’ll do is exploring what types of fear can torment us (let’s get really close up and feel the pulse of that ominous fear!) and then figure out how to deal with fear of say type A, or type B. Because the ability to safely navigate our fears determines success. And it won’t help to know how others are managing their fears – because they’re not the same fears.

Oh and did I mention that I’ll put this up here on the site for free? More details soon! 🙂
